Hi South-Bay (and beyond) Birders - 

This is my first posting to SBB. Hope it works.
Today, 1/21, at noon, there was a Common or Eurasian Green-winged Teal at 
Shoreline Park in Mtn View. It was in the long, deep, and wide ditch that 
parallels the west side of the Stevens Creek Tidal basin. It was with 6 std 
GWs, and showing interest in one of the females. I first saw it opposite the 
wooden bridge. Later it was swimming north.
