After repeated, brief visits with no luck, finally had the Rusty in good view today. Perched on top of the Indian restaurant between Big Lots and OSH. Just moved here from New Jersey, and have to say I am pleased and extremely impressed with the assortment being offered by Bay Area birding thus far in 2003. Nutting's, Emperor's and Brown Booby were all life birds for me. Is it like this all the time around here?
