We parked at the Rincon Creek bridge on Hicks Rd yesterday to mushroom in Sierra Azul.
As we were walking along Hicks Road, I  heard, then found a pair of Winter Wrens. One
was bobbing up and down on a brush pile, calling chip, chip. The other seen in the
nearby brush. A female Townsends Warbler was also heard and seen in the area. Janna
