I'm wondering if the Pacific Loon at Coyote Country Club in San Jose is
trapped there.  Loons can't take off from land and they need a long stretch
of water to get airborne.  I don't think those ponds are large enough for
him to take off -- they can't be more than 20 yards long.  I'll bet he got
blown in there in one of the storms and is stuck.
