I saw and heard a bird today at Picchetti Ranch that I thought was a 
Warbling Vireo: small, vireo-shaped with fairly bold black stripe 
through the eye bordered by white above and possibly below. The rest of 
the body seemed plain olive, but I didn't see it well. It was calling 
repeatedly from the top of a tree and I recorded the call with my 
digital camera. Anyone familiar enough with the call to know if this is 
one of the variants? It doesn't seem to match Stokes all that well. Not 
sure what else it could be...Black-throated Gray Warbler? If it turns 
out to be something unusual I can make a follow-up visit to gather more 
information; it seemed to like its spot a lot.
