A full-day trip to the Panoche Valley on the 2nd turned up only two species of significant interest:

There was a GREATER ROADRUNNER south of Paicines Reservour on the mud flats about 50 yards from the water.

There was a large flock (~25) of MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRDS along road J1 as you enter the valley up to the intersection with Little Panoche Road.

Quite a bit of searching turned up NO Mountain Plovers.
