It flew practically over my head from the south end of Byxbee Hill to the Palo Alto FCB and back, offering very nice up close views. Also of interest were a dark flyby swallow at Charleston Slough (I didn't have time to get my bins on it but it was probably a Barn Swallow), at least 80 Bonaparte's Gulls across the street from the duck pond, and a Ring-necked pheasant on the north side of Byxbee Hill at dusk.
