For you history aficionados, the first Ross's in the county was found in 1984 just east of the creek. Of seven swallows flying northwest, I identified single TREE and VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS. Today, Friday, 2/21/2003, I visited some more stakeouts. A single AM. DIPPER was singing along Stevens Creek above Mt. Eden Road. On the northeast corner of Lawrence Expressway and El Camino the female RUSTY BLACKBIRD was with the blackbird flock among the parked cars. The plumage appeared little changed in the last five weeks. Two AM. WHITE PELICANS were in Salt Pond A16 in Alviso. Bill _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
