hi All!

we spotted several Allen's hummers in the woods at Hearts' Desire Beach at 
Tomales Bay today: 1 full male singing, and we heard several others zooming 
about.

Question for the list: we also saw an Allen's Hummer that was either an 
immataure male or an adult female trying out a song -- totally incomplete 
song, just short irregular notes. By this behavior, may one say this was an 
immature male?

also, 2 Osprey on a nest.
