Apologize for the out of area, but... While wandering in Victoria BC, I 
ran into a gull I'm not sure of. It was clearly smaller than all of the 
other gulls I was seeing, with a much rounder head and different bill. 
Anyone able to hazard a guess at this guy? He was in still water just 
inside the main breakwater to Victoria harbor, FWIW.

By the way, if you're looking for barrow's goldeneyes, they all seem to
