Yesterday, I went up to Skyline Ridge by Alpine pond to see if the 
Lewis's Woodpeckers were stlll about. Indeed they were. They seem to be 
hanging out in the same area as prior posts (on the diseased/dead pine 
between Alpine Road and Alpine Pond). I posted enough pictures on my 
website (Sheesh!),  www.mirounga.com.  Also posted some  Ring-necked 
Duck pics from Horseshoe lake. Another of my favorite birds. Click on 
"The Latest!" button.
