Howdy Sbbers....

On my way driving in the heavy down pour to see the Black Rail I wondered if 
it would be worth it...

OH MY GOD was it....the views of this bird were amazing. I want to thank Mike 
Mammoser for helping spot the bird.  I can't thank you enough Mike....  The 
bird was still hanging around when I left at 11:35.  The water was quite high 
before the expected high tide at 12:24!  You could see the BLRAs red eye, 
rufous nape and white specks on the wings....what great views...  Oh My God...what 
a great little bird it was to see.....

Man, this beats asking for a White-throated Sparrow in my yard for 
Christmas.....
