This marsh is east of the Lucy Evans Center. If you were standing at "rail corner" you could look east and see the sign with your optics. A bench has recently been placed near the road and facing the sign. If you were sitting on this bench looking out toward the sign, the Black Rail was seen directly off to the left side of the bench. This is where the marsh shrubs meet the road and was not under water at high tide. Ruth explained the story behind Harriet. The Map from Kendric's site explains exactly where the marsh is.
