In just a couple hours we saw well over 60 species including a BALD EAGLE across from the boat ramp, highlights as follows: Going from south to north on Coyote Reservoir Road: --Lakeview Picnic Area-- WHITE-TAILED KITE, NUTTALL'S WOODPECKER, WHITE-BREASTED NUTHATCH, OAK TITMOUSE --Campground Area and Scoping the Lake from Campsite 35-- ~25 CALIFORNIA QUAIL, CANVASBACK, ~35 RING-NECKED DUCKS, BUFFLEHEAD, ~25 COMMON MERGANSERS, RUDDY DUCK, KILLDEER, GREATER YELLOWLEGS, DUNLIN, LEAST SANDPIPER, DOWITCHER SP., RING-BILLED GULL, MEW GULL, CALIFORNIA GULL --Boat Ramp Area-- Adult BALD EAGLE (in the dead tree on the opposite shore, directly across from the boat ramp) --Dam area-- Two male and two female WOOD DUCKS -Throughout the park- ACORN WOODPECKER, YELLOW-BILLED MAGPIE, RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET, DARK-EYED JUNCO, RED-TAILED HAWK, SPOTTED TOWHEE Amy McDonald _________________________________________________________________ Working moms: Find helpful tips here on managing kids, home, work — and yourself. http://special.msn.com/msnbc/workingmom.armx _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
