I found the thrasher not far beyond the road split, just north of the crest of the hill, but not quite so cooperative as before. I had good views through my scope, but I otherwise stayed on the recreational trail so as not to spook the bird. This was about 2:45 pm. Later, after looking a ducks from the northwest corner, I came back this way but didn't see the thrasher. I found neither the Eurasian Wigeon or the Redheads in the ponds, so I settled for the pair of BLUE-WINGED TEAL that have been in the Lockheed ponds since late October. I saw one BURROWING OWL in the hillside on my return. Bill _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
