We then checked out Salt Pond A1 where we had "the" partially leucistic white-headed RUDDY DUCK and a male EURASIAN WIGEON [Frank and Roland only]. Later in Salt Pond A2W we had hundreds [thousands?] of Scaup, 40-50 REDHEAD [didn't actually count them but I had about 19+ in just one scope view] and at least two male Eurasian Wigeon [seen at the same time in two different places but impossible to tell if one may have been the EUWI seen in pond A1]. Unfortunately no Tufted Duck [our goal] but then it was impossible, even with good scopes, to check the majority of the Scaup in the far northern portions of the pond A2W.
