At least one Sora was heard here. The nearby overflow parking lot now has grass, but there were very few birds, the only one of note being a Say's Phoebe. Elsewhere, a female Barrow's Goldeneye continued at Shoreline Lake (this time seen from the northwest end), and there were 7 Hooded Mergansers at the golf course pond along Geng Road in Palo Alto.
