All,
I found a White-throated Sparrow along San Francisquito Creek yesterday.
The bird was near the intersection of Emerson Street in Palo Alto and
the road that runs along the creek. It was across from the apartment
complex called "Las Robles". The sparrow was on the opposite bank
foraging among Golden-crowns along a fence. I realize the bird was
actually on the opposite bank, making it a San Mateo county bird, but it
may decide to fly across the creek, you never know.
