Also, a SPOTTED SANDPIPER was along one of the water hazard ponds. A soggy OSPREY was perched on a pole in the power substation across Metcalf Road from Parkway Lakes, while a second bird was hunting over the water. Back on 22 Nov 03 I was out at the Palo Alto Baylands and had one bird of note - a hybrid CINNAMON TEAL x BLUE-WINGED TEAL at the outflow channel near the airport.
