Two other birders on the tracks said they had seen the Ruff briefly in the marsh, but could not relocate it . At noon I went over to State & Spreckles and found the Ruff sleeping on the south-most of the several small islands in the middle of the pond. It was surrounded by about 100 dowitchers. Stilt SP - not seen. I came back after work around 6pm. I found the Ruff again, this time back in the marsh east of the tracks out along the edge of the more open water. Still no Stilt. In a previous post I mentioned seeing a white Budgie fly south over 237 near McCarthy. Earlier this evening my daughter wanted to look in the Petsmart store on the north side of 237 on McCarthy. Sure enough, there was a cage full of Budgies, including a nearly all white one. Again, no Stilt. Good luck.
