Just a few sightings from Castle Rock State Park along the Santa Cruz-
Santa Clara county border:

Today, 8/16, near the Interpretive Shelter by Goat Rock, there was a
small mixed flock of passerines that included silent Cassin's and 
Hutton's
vireos. Winter Wrens were found along the Saratoga Gap trail on the
approach to the Castle Rock Falls. A Pileated Woodpecker called from
the east side of Skyline Blvd. at the parking lot.

Yesterday, 8/15, a Pacific-slope Flycatcher called along the Ridge 
trail.
A Winter Wren was also in the area.

It's very quiet in this area now, but activity can be different from 
day to
day.
