Folks:

Dennis and Trish Caldwell have noticed a female MAGELLAN GOOSE on the 
Campbell percolation ponds near San Tomas Expressway in the last two 
weeks.  This South American sheldgoose is a relatively sedentary grasslands 
species.  The bird on the percolation ponds is undoubtedly an escapee from 
a local aviary, however, if you are not planning a trip to South America 
soon, you might enjoy looking at the bird.
