I've never had any here before at this time of year -- they've either come late in the Fall and then been persistent for a couple of winter months, or not come at all -- an irruption pattern. I didn't have any this last winter. I notice in Roberson, Monterey Birds, that there are some breeding colonies on the Monterey Co coast -- could these be post-breeding dispersers? Or do we have our own breeders closer by?\ http://www.geocities.com/tgrey41/PineSiskin.jpg Tom Grey www.geocities.com/tgrey41/index.html [[email protected]] _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
