     On a walk along Coyote Creek north of the Montague Expressway this
morning, I saw two Western Tanagers and two Black-headed Grosbeaks (both
by ones).  One of the Grosbeaks occasionally gave a soft, rather ven-
triloqual song.   Following that, I found nothing of note at the CCFS
pond (it was low tide).  The impoundment at Spreckels and State had
about 10 Greater Yellowlegs (one seen in flight may well have been a
Lesser) and 6 Wilson's Phalaropes, but little else.
