Thanks to Leda Beth Gray for organizing a Dragonfly ID class under the
auspices of the SCVAS.  A side-benefit of the class was entrance to Palo
Alto's exclusive Foothills Park.  Thanks also to Bob Behrstock who gave an
excellent presentation and field trip.

On the way into the park, Karen DeMello and I saw 8 WILD TURKEYs.  Two GREEN
HERONs flew back and forth in the vicinity of a boat launch for a period of
a couple hours and a FORSTER'S TERN successfully fished the lake.  After the
class disbanded, we saw a RUDDY DUCK with four large ducklings swimming
across the lake.
