When I arrived at 8:25 am, the nest was empty. The female returned at 8:28 am and I could watch her feed two nestlings. She then brooded for seven minutes and left (as did I). Jean Myers reported her nest in vines 50 ft below the last fence below Curtner; this nest is about 415 ft below that fence. This gives a spacing of 365 feet. I recall that Steve Rottenborn found some females nesting even closer than this. Bill _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
