A MACGILLIVRAY'S WARBLER was among the birds that we studied for signs of age and sex. A "WESTERN" FLYCATCHER was another newly arrived bird. Other migrant/lingering birds included a couple of HERMIT THRUSHes and an Audubon's YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER. A sizeable amount of peeps (many LEAST SANDPIPERs) foraged in the settling ponds to the west of the trailers.
