Greetings SBB!

Just a reminder, International Migratory Bird Day is
coming up on May 9th and 10th in Alviso at the Don
Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge (and it's
FREE).

There will be a twilight bird walk (adults only) on
May 9th at 7pm led by Refuge Manager Clyde Morris.
Also May 9th, a talk by SFBBO biologist Cheryl Strong
about south bay contaminants and their effects on
south bay terns.  The Wild Bird Center of Los Gatos
will also be at the Refuge with optics for people to
try out and play with if anyone is looking for new
binoculars. 

May 10th there is an adults only morning bird walk at
8:30am led by SFBBO which requires reservations with
Sharon Miyako at 408-262-5513 ext 102.  

AND, May 10th is also the main event for all ages and
all levels of birding.  Everything is FREE, and it's a
great time to introduce friends to the world of birds.
