We did run into Pat Kenny and Roland Kenner near the dish. Together we saw a solo WESTERN KINGBIRD just west of the dish, a LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE southeast of the dish, a few WHITE-THROATED SWIFTS (no Vaux's), at least one adult GOLDEN EAGLE (eating a ground squirrel, later perched in a tree nearby and still later one doing a territorial diving display), and a male BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK (near the creek/parking lot, a county year bird for none but me).
