Just as I got to The Dish it started to pour rain; this proved to be poor weather to search for kingbirds :( However, a huge swallow flock present before the storm hit had a vocal VAUX'S SWIFT as well as 2 WHITE-THROATED SWIFTS in some kind of chase. A male SELASPHORUS HUMMINGBIRD (likely RUFOUS) chased an ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD up the hill. Lingering birds included an AMERICAN PIPIT and a YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER.
