    Given a forecast of an indefinite period of rain, I figured I had better
do at least a little birding midday today.  The highlight was at the usual
nest along McKean Road:  one adult Golden Eagle and two 1/4 or so sized
white eaglets.  I also checked out Calero Reservoir from the boat dock.
The winter ducks were essentially gone; I did see 2 Caspian Terns along
with about 6 Forster's.
