Pacific Slope Flycatchers were in the area in numbers, calling from perches in the willows. Western Kingbirds also present in the sycamores. A bit north, into Santa Clara County, a quick stop at the southernmost of the "three eucalyptus" turned up a tree bereft of rarities but dripping with birds. Chestnut-backed Chickadees worked through the flowers down low. Anna's Hummingbirds, Western Kingbirds(4), Lesser Goldfinch, American Robin, Bullock's Oriole, House Finch, Violet-Green Swallows zooming through the branches. Hundreds of birds, but pressing appointments prevented a more careful look. Mark Paxton _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
