Folks:

      I made a stop at the Palo Alto Baylands this morning, 4/9/2003.  An 
adult PEREGRINE FALCON was along San Francisquito Creek and may be part of the 
pair seen at the harbor mouth previously.  A COMMON RAVEN was in the top nest 
on the tower on Hook's Isle and there were no signs of Peregrines in this 
vicinity.  I assume there has been some interaction between the two 
species--sorry I missed it.  An adult GREEN HERON was along the wastewater 
outfall and a male RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD was seen flying north along the trail 
here.
