At Stevens Creek, I only checked the area relatively close to the ranger station, finding two singing Warbling Vireos (one seen) and one Pacific-Slope Flycatcher (heard only). A real novelty for me was a singing (not just calling) White-breasted Nuthatch. It was overcast at Ed Levin when I was there. While I had at least 7 or 8 Selasphorus hummingbirds in various places, I got a brief glimpse at only one adult male (a likely Rufous from what I saw, but not confirmed). I had two Pacific-Slope Flycatchers, one at the Elms area and one by the ranger residence; I don't think these are breeding sites. A few White-throated Swifts were east of Sandy Wool Lake; I didn't have time to walk uphill. Most fun was a group of 5 male Wild Turkeys, calling loudly from west of the pond at the ranger station; they then walked the path behind the pond, sped up when a couple of kids started to follow, and headed uphill to the west, still vocal.
