Eden Road. Under the bridge, visible only from the downstream side, was a large globular nest of moss etc. on the girders, with a single AMERICAN DIPPER sitting cosily inside, looking straight out. Not wanting to disturb the bird I did not linger too long there. Searching upstream and downstream from the bridge along the road did not yield another bird. Needless to say, please take care if you go there. Downstream from the bridge was a BELTED KINGFISHER and a TOWNSEND's WARBLER. At quick stop at the Bay Picnic Area at Steven Creek Park, a WRENTIT carrying nesting material along the trail to the dam.
