Calero Reservoir (eastern end): Of note were one CASPIAN TERN, one FORSTER'S TERN, one EARED GREBE. Not many ducks, but those seen included Gadwall, Mallard, Common Goldeneye, Greater Scaup, and Common Merganser. Swallows swooping over the eastern end of the reservoir were TREE, CLIFF, and BARN. A GOLDEN EAGLE was being harrassed by a crow; later I saw the eagle near the nest platform along McKean Road. And finally, WESTERN KINGBIRDS are now being seen at the end of Fortini Road at the start of Stile Ranch Trail (Santa Teresa CP). That's it for now - Ann Verdi _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
