You probably do not want to go there alone right now. - Chris Salander To: San Jose Employees of Cadence From: Roy Robinson, Safety & Security Director Re: Security Warning: Attempted Assault at Levee Monday at lunch time, people running on the levee were stopped and questioned by a Milpitas Police officer regarding an attempted assault. >From my conversation with the Milpitas Police Department and from those who were questioned, a man is being sought for this attempted assault. He is described as African-American, approximately 6'2", 185 lbs with about 2 weeks growth of beard, salt and pepper in color. He was seen wearing blue overalls with a blue wind breaker or sweatshirt underneath. This suspect apparently attempted to assault a male victim with a lead pipe during an attempted vehicle robbery on the Milpitas side of the levee and was last seen running down the creek. Use caution and avoid this individual. Call the Milpitas Police Department if you see him (586-2400). Since many of us run, walk and cycle on the levee, please use extreme caution, run/walk/cycle in groups and carry a cell phone with you. _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
