All,

At lunch today 10/28/02, I headed to Calero Reservoir to look for the
Yellow-headed Blackbird.  Midday is not a good time to look for these
birds, as many were hiding in the shade or in the trees.  I saw lots of
blackbirds, but no Yellow-headed :(

One of the immature GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE was still out on the
reservoir and 15 WILD TURKEYS and a CALIFORNIA THRASHER were on the
dike on the way out there.

Linda Sullivan et al. showed up just as I was leaving - perhaps they'll
have better luck.
