The flock was mixed juvenile and adult. On Sunday, 13 Oct 02, I birded in the vicinity of the Palo Alto Flood Control Basin, turning up 4 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS and a YELLOW WARBLER behind the Palo Alto maintenance yard. Today, 18 Oct 02, I failed to find the White-throated Sparrow at the Palo Alto Baylands, but did have an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER in the eucs around the ranger station.
