We started at Byxbee Park, scoped the yacht harbor (it was full of shorebirds and ducks), checked out Matadero Creek and then walked clockwise around the Palo Alto Flood Control Basin without finding the Ibis. We did have a couple PEREGRINE FALCONS, a juvenile WHITE-TAILED KITE, two DUNLIN (among hundreds of Dowitchers) and our first CANVASBACK of the fall.
