Folks:

      This morning, 10/9/2002, I counted five RING-NECKED DUCKS at the 
Alamitos Groundwater Recharce Facility, aka the SCVWD ponds.  An OSPREY came 
overhead at one point and an adult columbarius MERLIN was active in the area.  
No vagrant warblers, just two YELLOW WARBLERS marking the end of the fall 
passage.
