Greetings.
On Saturday afternoon I had a second winter THAYER'S GULL at Hidden Lake Park in Milpitas.  (The park is on N. Milpitas Rd. off Dixon Ldg. Rd.)  
The bird looked like the illustration in Sibley and was pretty easy to spot among the California and Ring-billed gulls because of its relatively light brown primary tips and bill being about half light and half dark.
