I could see them from the parking area at the end of Terminal Rd. Two PEREGRINE FALCONs flew over the industrial park area to the south. One Peregrine later called a bit, then landed on the utility tower that still has a remnant of a Common Raven's nest. While locating a GREEN HERON at the lake side of the Forebay, Randy Little, who happened by, spotted an AMERICAN BITTERN near the heron in the feeder creek channel near the bench at the east end of the Forebay. CEDAR WAXWINGs were heard in the area, but not seen. When we got to the base of Charleston Slough, we could not see any of the skimmers. About 2 dozen AMERICAN WHITE PELICANs were far out on pond A1 hanging out with the decoys.
