Hello All,

Here area a few birds of note from the Almaden area for Saturday, Nov 16.

Almaden Reservoir: 65 WOOD DUCKS, mostly seen in the Larrabee Gulch extension 
near the lower end of the reservoir.

SCVWD pond (Almaden Expwy & Coleman Rd): one GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL and a pair 
of CANVASBACK.  Also Ring-necked Duck, Lesser Scaup, Bufflehead, Gadwall, 
Ruddy Duck, and Mallard.

Please note that my email address has changed.  I'm now at <[[email protected]]>.  
The company I worked for is undergoing extensive cutbacks, including my 
position.  I've decided to retire so I'm now a full-time "birder grandma".  
I'm doing fine - birding is a great healer and helps get things back into 
perspective.
