The rain has flooded the fields north of the lake, and they were filled with 195+ CANADA GEESE (including one small dark-breasted bird without a white neck ring and no black line on the throat separating the white cheek patches), 10+ GREATER YELLOWLEGS, and many KILLDEER. There were a few RING-BILLED GULLS among the dozens of CALIFORNA GULLS, but nothing more exciting. Nine AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS and 9 BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS were on the eastern island and a female BUFFLEHEAD and many EARED GREBES were on the lake. An adult PEREGRINE FALCON was eating a pigeon atop a high voltage tower behind Raging Waters. Mike Rogers _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
