There were 3 males and 2 females in the northern-most pond on the east side of the creek. Also included was a handful of RING-NECKED DUCKS and LESSER SCAUP (and AMERICAN WIGEON, BUFFLEHEAD, GADWALL, blah blah blah). Two WILSON'S SNIPE were on small islands in the creek itself. At the small ponds near the Dell Ave entrance, a congregation of gulls included a first-winter THAYERS and an adult HERRING among the CALIFORNIA and RING-BILLED.
