At the Sunnyvale sewage ponds today, 6 Nov 02, many ducks have come in as
hunting season is underway. Among the ducks on the West Pond were 31
REDHEADS. This included 5 females, which may have been undercounted due to
the difficulty in picking them out at distance. Salt pond A4 had 11
aechmophorus grebes, which included 3 CLARK'S and 2 WESTERN. About 30
AMERICAN PIPITS were stalking the hillside at the old landfill.
