Subject: a 2nd hand report

Hi Bill,

Chris Emmons, a fine local birder, reported to me that he had 3 RED 
CROSSBILLS at Sanborn Skyline County Park on 11/2 (he also had 15 across the 
line at Castle Rock the same day). Also noted at Sanborn were 2 RED-BREASTED 
NUTHATCHES, 1 calling PILEATED WOODPECKER, and "lots" of GOLDEN-CROWNED 
KINGLETS. I asked how many "lots" was, and he said an estimated 40 in about 
1.5 hours of birding at Sanborn.
