It was warmer than on my last visit but misty (it was 48 degrees about 11-12 degrees colder than the valley). I had essentially the same birds, AMERICAN ROBIN, HERMIT THRUSH, VARIED THRUSH (many), TOWNSEND'S WARBLER, HUTTON'S VIREO, CHESTNUT-BACKED CHICKADEE, RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET, PURPLE FINCH, CEDAR WAXWING, AND DARK-EYED JUNCO. A large flock (35-40) of BAND-TAILED PIGEONS was new. I then took the long way home (via Uvas Rd thru Morgan Hill) and had 13 WOOD DUCKS (seven males) on the upper part of Uvas Reservoir.
