Is it true they don't respond to taping like other owls? Mariani tells me to watch for them as they are a tough one sometimes for the Calero count. We are going to owl along Calero Creek not far from Mariani's house, then perhaps up along Country View Drive which goes up to the SE entrance to the Santa Teresa Co Park. There are some dead ends up there near the park gate that were going to originally be housing developments but they were never built. There are bay trees and oak woodlands on a couple of them that might be some good habitat. Cheers, Leda Beth. _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
